Santee Public Service Announcement

The Santee Sioux Nation task force on Covid-19 has become aware of individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19, Close Contact or live in the same household, are not abiding by the basic guidelines and precautions of the Tribe.

You are reminded that there are still laws in place that you could be fined up to $500 dollars or possibly face charges in tribal court for not following tribal quarantine regulations.

Also, tribal programs and businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone that is in the same situation.

If the General public knows of any of these violations, you can file a report with the Santee Law Enforcement office at 911.
