In this video, we talk about Yushkonshka — movement — as a key part of Wicozani Waste, a true Culture of Health. Living an active life strengthens our immune system, helps protect us from disease, and supports both physical and mental well‑being.
The good news? Being active doesn’t mean extreme workouts or boot‑camp training. The CDC recommends just 150 minutes of moderate activity per week, like brisk walking — and that movement can be built into everyday life.

We share simple, realistic ways to prioritize movement throughout the day — at home, at work, and in the community — from walking, stretching, and gardening, to dancing, chopping wood, and using local wellness resources. Small changes add up, especially when we support each other.

I’ll see you in the comments — and I’ll see you next week as we continue building Wicozani Waste together.
